Mella, Independence.- Inspired in the program Boys and Girls Club of America "About Us bgca.org)"the Center for Education, Health and the Environment (CEPESAMAM), inaugurated its modern facilities in the far southwest of the Dominican Republic.
Ms. Hilda Pichardo supported by her family, she began a series of actions in the united States, and after four arduous years, today has left its fruits, a building located in the community of the Province's Independence, which will be the basis for all the actions planned by CEPESAMAM, of which it is a founding member.
CEPESAMAM, is an oasis that welcomes you to the children of the town of Dent, avid orientation and preparation in the different artistic manifestations, such as painting, music, dance, reading, writing, literary, hence its motto, “Educate to Live Healthy”. The center will serve children, adolescents and young people in situations of vulnerability, in their free time, where they will be instructed in extracurricular activities that will allow them to stay focused on their holistic development and academic success, leadership, strength of character, and a healthy lifestyle.
Our success is achieved through strategies based on a single universal fact of the children, which is education. We believe that all children should have the full and effective enjoyment of the right and receive a full protection. Today I am the happiest woman in the world, now that I've accomplished together with many people this project in the place where I was born, and the land of my mother pointed to Ms. Hilda Pichardo.
